Humorous Antler Wood Pecker

Allison White carved this humorously sweet wood pecker from deer antler.  It appears to be smiling, and also appears to have four feet!  It has inlaid turquoise eyes, and the feathers are detailed.  Perfect for anyone who needs a smile!

Like all birds, woodpeckers are messengers.  Flickers are members of the woodpecker family and their feathers are good medicine for many Native Americans.
