Vintage Zuni Thunderbird & Sunface Necklace

Can something be beautiful and bold? Yes! This vintage sterling silver Thunderbird necklace made of five parts: the center pendant and four rainbows shaped with inlaid natural red coral, natural Sleeping Beauty turquoise, and jet. The center Thunderbird is above the Sunface with inlaid mother of pearl, natural Sleeping Beauty turquoise, red coral, and jet. The Sunface is surrounded by feathers inlaid with with jet and natural Sleeping Beauty turquoise. Three feathers are attached to the bottom with inlaid mother of pearl, red coral, jet, and natural Sleeping Beauty turquoise.  The sterling silver chain has a hook and eye clasp that is easy to loop through lower links to make shorter.  This necklace was part of an older collection of Native American jewelry and has a patina that comes with age.  If you would like it bright and shiny it is easy to clean with jewelry polish.
