Vintage Zuni Thunderbirds Necklace - 27" Long

Seventeen inlaid Thunderbirds grace this vintage, sterling silver Zuni necklace.  Five Thunderbirds are inlayed onto the naja, with six stamped suns.  Twelve Thunderbirds attach to the double strands of handmade sterling silver beads.  The Thunderbirds are inlaid with jet, Mother of Pearl, natural red coral, and turquoise.  The beads end with a hook and eye clasp.  We think this was made around the 1960s.  It has been lightly polished to maintain the patina that comes with age.
