      Navajo jeweler, Genevieve Francisco, made these potent sterling silver Thunderbird earrings.  Turquoise is set in sterling silver overlay with the designs cut out of the top sheet of silver.  The bottom sheet of silver was oxidized to turn it black.  They dangle from sterling silver wires.  More about Thunderbirds below.
