Fine Turquoise Lynx

Andres Quandelacy carved this lynch from a beautiful piece of soft green turquoise.  It has inlaid coral eyes.  Like all of the carvings by Andres, this is well carved with the detailed fur around the face, slightly open mouth, detailed paws, defined tail.  It is so nice.

Lynx are shy and solitary, while at the same time can be fierce and protective of their children.  They do not like to be around humans and stay away as much as possible.  If you are lucky enough to see a lynx in the wild, they are allowing you to see them.

Traditionally, Zuni carvings are symbolically fed cornmeal.   Each Zuni fetish comes in a box with a descriptive card and a tiny bit of corn meal to tide them over until they reach you.
