These two ponies are bound together with their love of one another. Carved by Daisy Natewa, the small pony is carved from turquoise, and the large pony is carved from raspberry serpentine. They both have inlaid turquoise eyes. Their offering bundle is heishi and turquoise.

Many Native American people believe that horses were in North America before the colonizers arrived. Many Native American people have special relationships with horses, and this was evident during the camps at Standing Rock to protect and defend the river.
