Vintage Navajo Lightening Bug Brooch

Need a little more light in your life?  This vintage Navajo handmade Lightening Bug Brooch might help!  Made from sterling silver which a patina that only comes from age, the antennae and legs are twisted silver wire and the wings have lovely stamp-work on them.  It was well taken care of by the last person to wear it and it was part of a collection of vintage Native American jewelry.  The pinback is horizontal on the body which would make it easy to wear as a pendant by threading a chain through it.  Made in the 1950s to the early 1960s.
