Possibly depicting a Fan Dancer from Oaxaca, Mexico, this piece was made by fusing three different metals in layers.  It is marked "Metales Casados" and "Hecho en Mexico" on the back. The mark "Metales Casados" is found on all sorts of jewelry from the 1950s and 60s in Mexico. The mark was originally used on early Los Castillo married metal pieces for about a year, but they quickly switched to "Metales Castillo" in order to copyright it.

The chain is also handmade and can be taken off of the hook on the back of the pendant.  This piece was in the collection of the owner of Gathering Tribes for over 20 years.

Size: 4" H x 1.75" W - Chain 22" Long
