About the image: This ledger painting was inspired by the role of Deputy Hawk, also simply called "The Hawk", played by Michael Horse in the television series Twin Peaks.

The man is The Hawk in his traditional regalia and the hawk above him is his protector. He is praying and singing to the sacred mountains called Twin Peaks in the state of Washington. Owls are meaningful in the television series, Twin Peaks, and are said to know everything. The smaller log leaning up against the tree, which gave answers to Deputy Hawk, was left there by the Log Lady, an important character in the series. The black lodge above the mountains was a place of medicine, also important in the series. The spaceship above the mountains is keeping an eye on all things Twin Peaks.

Mugs and t-shirts are made on-demand and ship directly from the printer. Please take into consideration that the item is being made for you and then shipped to you. You will receive an email with the tracking number when the item ships to you.  Please save it and follow up as needed.  If you haven't received your order within 10 days after you receive the shipping email, please feel free to reach out to us at treasures@gatheringtribes.com or (510) 406-8335

Make sure your address is correct.  We are not responsible for a replacement or a refund if the shipment goes to a wrong address that you typed in.

If your order arrives damaged or mislabeled:  Our team will look into the order. Shaun Chosa is a self-taught artist with a background in graphic design. He uses photographs as the basis and starting point for the images and paintings he creates. Being raised by a young single Native mother, who was a painter herself, led Chosa to witness, and sometimes partake, in various aspects of many different cultures in addition to Indigenous ones all over the United States. The artist lives and works in Ely, Minnesota, and he is a Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa citizen. He has two cats and spends most of his time creating art in his studio. Owls are meaningful in the television series, Twin Peaks, and are said to know everything. The smaller log leaning up against the tree, which gave answers to Deputy Hawk, was left there by the Log Lady, an important character in the series. The black lodge above the mountains was a place of medicine, also important in the series. The spaceship above the mountains is keeping an eye on all things Twin Peaks.
