Only The Owls Know

This original ledger painting was created by award-winning artist Michael Horse who portrayed Deputy Hawk in the ground-breaking televtision series Twin Peaks. The show ran for two years in 1990 and 1991. In the last episode in 1991 one of the characters said "See you in 25 years". In 2017 Twin Peaks:The Return was shown on Showtime with eighteen episodes. Michael was in both the original Twin Peaks and The Return.

This image depicts The Hawk talking to the owls because in the show "the owls know". The Black Lodge was a mysterious location in and out of our reality. The bird over The Hawk's head is a hawk. Snoqualmie Falls are in the background of the painting and are a feature of the series. Arrives unframed.
